Training For In-House Language Teachers
When Crossing Borders trains an in-house language teacher your company will receive support from start to finish. Crossing Borders can help you evaluate your existing staff, or offer assistance with in hiring new staff. Crossing Borders has been teaching language and culture to adults and children for the last decade. Our staff has the training and experience to give your language instructor all the tools necessary to be effective, dynamic and confident.
Our teacher training system is organized into sections and modules. Section A is Instruction, which consists of 5 modules. Each module is 3 hours long and explores topics necessary to a teacher’s pedagogical preparation. Section B is Practicum; this section has 2 modules: class observation and student teaching. Our teacher-training program is based on research methods used by schools and universities around the world. Crossing Borders provides teacher trainees curriculum, preparation, and on-going support.
