Adult Language Classes
Crossing Borders Group offers private, semi-private, and group language classes for adults. CB's language classes emphasize conversation and low teacher-student ratios (3 to 6 students per class). Classes can be scheduled at our Spring / Woodlands location, or in the comfort of your own home anywhere in the Greater Houston area.
Whether you want to study a second language for business, travel, personal growth, or fun Crossing Borders has a class for you. CB always offers classes in the following languages: English (ESL), Spanish, French, Mandarin and Italian. However, we are able to arrange classes for a number of other languages including Arabic and Portuguese.
English (ESL) - Group classes place an emphasis on conversation and small groups (2 to 6 students); allowing students plenty of time to practice and excel.
- English (ESL) Fundamentals For Spanish Speakers/Clases de ingles para principiantes - Este curso esta disenado para las personas que nunca han estudiado ingles o que tienen un conocimiento minimo del mismo. Su vocabulario es limitado y entienden exspresiones simples, pero no lo suficiente como para entablar una conversacion fluida.
- English (ESL) Intensive Immersion – Intermediate & Advanced/Clases de ingles intensivas - Wanf to get ahead in today's world? Don't wait another day to improve your English.
- General English (ESL)/Clases de ingles general - This class meets 3 days a week and focuses on grammar, reading and conversation.
- English (ESL) Conversation/Clases de conversacion en ingles - This weekly class gives students the opportunity to practice their English skills while receiving corrective feedback.
- Business English - This course is designed for students who already speak and understand English, but still need to improve to meet professional needs.
- Accent Reduction/American Pronunciation - Let our native and expert instructors help you communicate with confidence, clarity and accuracy.
Spanish, French & Mandarin
Languages other than English are only offered in private settings and customized to meet your needs. Please contact our office to schedule your lessons.
